Polish Post have informed that there has been heavy rainfall in the south-west of the country since the 14th September 2024 resulting in local flash floods. The Polish Government has declared a state of natural disaster.

Transportation and delivery of all mail types have been affected due to road closures, destroyed bridges and Poczta Polska staff absences with the worst affected postcode areas being: 43XXX, 47XXX, 48XXX, 57XXX, 58XXX and 59XXX where delays are to be expected.
