Mauritius Post has informed that the National Crisis Committee has asked public and private-sector workers to remain at home on Monday 22 April 2024 because of torrential rainfall in the country.

A case of force majeure has been declared by Mauritius Post and all post office facilities are currently closed. This is impacting on processing and delivery of all mail types with delays to be expected as result.
