The designated operator of Laos have informed that owing to the passage of super typhoon Yagi on the 9th September 2024 severe flooding has occurred in various northern parts of the country.

The severe weather has caused significant disruption to postal operations in the Luang Namtha province where all inbound and outbound mail services are currently suspended. The affected postcode is 03000.

As a result delays are likely to be experienced during this period.
