Portugal Post have advised that the Government of Portugal has declared a state of disaster across mainland Portugal as a result of ongoing severe weather. The central regions are particularly affected, while adverse conditions are also impacting the north and south of the country, as well as the islands of the Azores and Madeira.

Air and sea transport disruptions, together with localized operational challenges, are significantly affecting mail processing and distribution.

Delays may be observed for all mail types until conditions improve.
