Portugal Post have informed that Menzies, the company who provide local ground handling services have announced strike action at Portugal’s mainland airports and significant disruption is expected. Schedule as follows:

The strikes will be held from 00.00 to 24.00 on the following dates:-

• September: 3–9, 12–15, 19–22 and 26–28
• October: 3–6, 10–13, 17–20, 24–27 and 31–3 November
• November: 7–10, 14–17, 21–24 and 28–1 December
• December: 5–8, 12–15 and 19–2 January 2026.
