Philippine Post has informed that the south-west monsoon is causing severe weather conditions with heavy rainfall and flooding, in several parts of the country.

The affected areas are: National Capital Region, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Zambales, Bataan, Rizal, Cavite, Occidental Mindoro, Pangasinan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Oriental Mindoro, Bulacan.

However, the prevailing weather conditions are continuing to affect the following where the collection, processing, transportation and delivery of mail items to and from the affected areas is likely to be delayed:

• Ilocos Sur
• Ilocos Norte
• La Union
• Pangasinan
• Abra
• Benguet
• Kalinga
• Mountain Province
• Apayao
• Batane
• Nueva Vizcaya
• Zambales
• Tarlac
• Pampanga
• Bataan
