New Zealand Post has informed that severe weather, including torrential rain and flooding, has disrupted delivery services in parts of the Greater Wellington and Wairarapa regions, where a state of local emergency remains in place.

While services have largely resumed, some rural areas remain inaccessible and minor delivery delays may continue. Ferry services between the North and South Islands have resumed, and any remaining backlog is expected to clear shortly.
