Nepal Post have informed that nationwide protests held on the 7 and 8 September 2025 have resulted in severe damage to infrastructure across the country. Many government entities, including Post have been affected.

Subsequently the Post office has suspended postal operations and are currently in the process of gradually restoring their operation.

Although normal conditions have not yet been fully restored, some services are now being provided from Kathmandu and other post offices across the country with limited resources, and using temporarily established facilities as the current situation demands.

As a result, delays are likely until normal conditions resume.
