Japan Post has informed that the strong earthquake on 28 July 2026 has severely impacted Kumamoto, Miyazaki and Kagoshima prefectures, causing major disruption to rail and road transportation in the affected areas and neighbouring regions, where all mail is subject to delays:

889xxxx (Miyazaki prefecture); and

890xxxx – 899xxxx (Kagoshima prefecture)
