Poste Italiane has informed that, following the introduction of new European Union customs regulations on 1 July 2026, delays are being experienced in the customs clearance of inbound parcels from non‑EU countries at the Malpensa Lonate Pozzolo office of exchange.

The situation has been compounded by IT issues, and delays may be observed while these are being resolved. A return to normal operations is expected during August 2026.
