We have been informed that certain sorting centers and post offices have been engulfed in flames since July 22 in the Gironde (33) and Landes (40) departments, resulting in the closure of some postal facilities. 

The fire continues to spread toward the Bordeaux metropolitan area; forcing postal workers to be evacuated and some regions remains inaccessible until further notice.

Affected zip code ares are:- 33950 – 33970, 33138 – 33510 – 33740-33148, 33380 – 33680 – 33121, 40460 – 40600, 40160, 33127–33160–33185–33700, 33320, 33520, 33700, 33127, 33610.

As a result, all operations are affected in departments: until further notice – 16, 17, 23, 24, 19, 47, 33, 40, 64, and 87.
