Belgian Post have informed that unannounced local industrial actions related to organizational changes at bpost have been ongoing since 30 March. Consultations between bpost and its social partners took place on 1 April without resolution, and further discussions are scheduled for 13 April 2026. The duration of the disruption will depend on the outcome of these talks.

The disruption to postal operations has now extended nationwide, and mail handling and delivery across Belgium may experience delays while consultations continue.
