The designated operator of Angola, Empresa Nacional de Correios e Telégrafos de Angola (ENCTA), has advised of a significant disruption to postal services across Angola. A nationwide strike by postal workers, ongoing for 37 days, is severely affecting the processing, transmission and delivery of all categories of mail, including letter post, parcel post and EMS. As a result, significant delays are being experienced in the processing and delivery of inbound mail, while the outbound mail collection and dispatch services are currently suspended or heavily restricted.
