The U. S. Postal Service (USPS) is reducing postage rates on April 10, 2016 by removing the 4.3% surcharge imposed back in 2014. The temporary surcharge was implemented to help the USPS recover losses from the downturned economy.
While there is mixed analysis on whether the USPS will regain their losses by April, the price reductions will be enacted as scheduled.
